The Blue River Jazz Band

The Blue River Jazz Band plays America’s traditional classic “hot” jazz and swing music from the early 20th century.   Hot Jazz, Popular Music of New Orleans, the 1910’s, 20’s and ’30s-America’s music!   Includes artists such as:   Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Lester Young, Fats Waller, New Orleans, Preservation Hall, Shotgun Jazz Band, Tuba Skinny, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, stride piano, swing dancing, 1920s

Music of the “Roaring 20s”……perfect for “Great Gatsby” themed weddings,  birthday parties and the like, as well as classic swing dances.

For concert series, we have wonderful program that provides enjoyable music with fascinating facts, stories,  and anecdotes about the songs and the musicians that made them famous.
