The Sounds of Frank is a professional 6-piece instrumental and vocal group performing some of the best hits made famous by “old blue eyes.” The group is, perhaps, the region’s most genuine musical tribute to Frank and his music.

Fronted by the incredibly talented John Cooper, The Sounds of Frank will take you back to the glory days of music, when the emotion and expression of great songs really mattered. Close your eyes and suspend reality for a moment and you will literally hear Frank’s inflections and emotions in John’s voice. All the songs are both sung and performed with integrity and honesty, just as Frank and his band performed them. Band instrumentation consists of piano/keyboards, bass, drums, trumpet and sax.

The Sounds of Frank performs around the region at many different types of events: town/municipal functions; fairs and festivals; private and corporate events; casinos, etc.  The group has been invited to perform at:  Infinity Theaters in both Hartford and Norfolk, CT;  The Katherine Hepburn Theatre in Old Saybrook, CT; The Concord City Auditorium in Concord, NH; Strange Brew in Norwich, CT; The Potato Festival in Branford, CT; and many other private and public events.
