José Paulo’s voice will mesmerize you and his personality will charm you!  He is very versatile and sings all styles of music in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French….from American pop, classic and jazz,  to Latin, samba, bossa nova, to classical and opera.  He performs for audiences of all ages.  Hailing originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jose started his singing career at the age of 12.   He began singing “Ave Maria” at local weddings and private events.   This early success encouraged him to study at various certified music schools.   His influences are:   Andrea Bocceli, Josh Groban, Frank Sinatra, Luiz Miguel, Celine Dion, Juan Luiz Guierra, Roberto Carlos, Ivete Sangalo, Il Divo and many others.

In 2008 Jose released his first CD, “Canzoni Stonate” with the help of Roberto Menescal and Raymundo Betencourt.   This led to many performances and events around the region and the world.  Here are just a few events where large audiences were able to be captivated by his voice and charm:   toured 2 weeks in Japan, sang for Pope John Paul II, performed at Brazilian Day In Canada (opened up the show for Ivete Sangalo), performed at the United Nations in NYC, appeared at the Brazilian International Press Award Ceremony, Guitar under the Stars, Sergio Franchi Annual Concerts, the Connecticut Operas Carmen and Tosca, Foxwoods Casino Cabernet Show and Rio Samba Show, to name a few.

Jose Paulo loves to share his singing techniques, skills and talent with students from the ages of 5 to 65.  He encourages his students to get out in front of audiences to sing and perform.   José admits he could not live without singing music.  It is part of who he is, and he likes nothing better than to share that with as many people as possible.  His performance will add a very special touch to your party or event!
